6 and 8 December- Dia de la Constitution and La Immaculada

Dia de la Comstitution is part of the Puente de la Inmaculada. It is a long weekend and partly a Christmas holiday that combines public holiday on the 6th with the public holiday on the 8th of December called La Immaculada, the Day or Feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Maria. The Spanish Constitucion day take back us of the Constitution of Spain from 1978, when Spain started to be a democracy stated, after being a of dictatorship one. Be sure, that all the big shops are open on these public holidays for Christmas shopping.

22 December- Buff Epic Run Barcelona

The Buff Epic Run is Barcelona´s craziest run, it is a mixture of athletics and Monty Python. This annual holds every Christmas in Barcelona and is an 8k fancy dress crazy obstacle race round Montjuic castle on Montjuic hill which has a mud-pit, foam bath, tires and many other obstacles. The person who dressed in the funniest and fascinating costume wins a prize. Here is also a Mini Buff Epic Run for juniors 13 to 16 years old. If do you want you can register. It is open until the middle of December 2013. If you already registered before the middle of November the price will be for you as usually only 19 euro’s.
25 and 26 December -Christmas and Boxing Day

What are you thinking about NEW YEAR in Barcelona. What to do? Where to go? If you want an unforgettable time during New Year this year. A 10K run in a great City and New Year Celebrations all in one. The people from Barcelona tale pleasure in their San Silvestre run on New Years Eve – for many of them it is the start of festive holiday.
