Barcelona is one of the biggest economic areas that definitely have a dense business fabric and a long industrial tradition. Barcelona is diversified in different economy areas with multiplies of suppliers and companies. Sure, it has a lot of collaborators and customers. For sure, the industrial sector has an important weight. Industrial sector specialised and export-oriented companies, especially in the next fields: the automotive, consumer electronics, chemical-pharmaceutical and agri-food sectors.
The economy is developing and it signs up the most highly skilled staff. The next areas are developing in the city: biotechnology, business services, audiovisual production, cultural industries, communication technologies (ICT) and information, sustainable mobility and clean industries. 
On the up and up the next areas: logistics, commerce, medical services, restaurants and food, advertising and design.

It has a rail loading link with the Iberian rail network and the only European-gauge rail loading link in the Iberian Peninsula.

Why Barcelona?





1. The first point is LOCATION. What does it mean?
Barcelona’s location is really good. Tthis city is the gateway to southern Europe. Its history has about 2000 years and it’s the Mediterranean’s area capital. It is well known as a bridge to the Maghreb and a platform to Latin America and it is represent the main city in the Mediterranean. In Catalonia it is also known as the economic, cultural and administrative capital. Barcelona is one of the economic drivers of the European Union and Spain.



Barcelona has about more than 25 million inhabitants, ones that make up the Euroregion. This Euroregion stretches from the Balearics to Aragon, and from Valencia to the south-east of France.
Being on the shores of the Mediterranean in the north-east of Spain, two hours from France by road. It has a good connection with the main European cities. This connection means that Barcelona’s destinations that is preferred for international investment in southern Europe.
Barcelona is a leader of the Mediterranean, it is like a bridge to the southern shore and a platform for the entry of goods, merchandise and people from the Middle East and America, is becoming increasingly clear.

Christmas lights in Barcelona

In Barcelona well-known "Els llums de Nadal." It is special lights for Merry Christmas in Barcelona. Christmas stars when the Mayor of Barcelona are switched on all the lights every year. This year the lights were turned on the 22nd of November. The Barcelona Shopping night that helds every year is more popoular even than Christmas shoppping with its shopping festivals, and popular Christmas fashionable shopping street well known as Passeig de Gracia. During Christmas time in Barcelona you will find the christmas light on more than 390 spots and streets with illumination that that cover for about 85km.
One more popular tourist destination is Magic Fountain of Monjuic in Barcelona. During Christmas period thid fountain has a special Christmas water and music show. 
This special free show you can watch on Fridays and Saturdays in December 2013 and on 25th December and 1st January between 19:00 to 21:00. But it could be cold, so take care about yourself and dress warmly. Torre Agbar in the Sant Marti district is one more unusual Christmas show, which lights up with a special Christmas light show from 18:00 to 23:00.
