New Year in Barcelona 2014

This year Barcelona decided to surprise it´s citizens and all the guests! 
The rumors of an official event being organized by the Barcelona City Hall on the Maria Cristina Boulevard were true. Youtube Barcelona´s New Year Fireworks  The New Year 2014 was celebrated on the new location. For the first time, the Strokes New Year was held at the Magic Fountain of Montjuïc (Avenida de la Reina Maria Cristina).
The event was free! It included visual display, fireworks and a 15 meter sculpture representing the spirit of the city. The New Year celebration in Barcelona lasting from 23.30 h, the performance of L'home del mil • lenni, human towers and other music and fun ideas that made the last night of the year a unique experience for everyone who wanted to celebrate the arrival of 2014 live enjoy this show. The completion of the celebration was scheduled at 00.30 h. 
The atmosphere was really amazing!

New Year Swimming in Barcelona 2014

Don´t afraid to be cold! 

Don’t you know how to celebrate New Year? In Barcelona it is a lot of fun and enjoyment! On the 1st of January Spanish people just diving in the sea! It’s true! It’s not a joke! This kind of tradition exist from 1996 on the San Sebastian beach. This event is well-known as the “First swimming in New Year”. The swimming club “Atletic” is the organizer of this interesting event. “Atletic” is a sport center, located on the San Sebastian beach where you could find a few swimming pools and fitness-centers. Everyone can take part in this event and it is totally free! If do you want to take a warm shower after that and receive diploma as a trophy you should register on the club’s reception. This event takes place every year, in front of the swimming club “Atletic”! The easiest way to get to swimming club “Atletic” is metro station “Barcelonetta” L4

Why Barcelona_3? Engine of a large and diversifies hinterland

Barcelona is one of the biggest economic areas that definitely have a dense business fabric and a long industrial tradition. Barcelona is diversified in different economy areas with multiplies of suppliers and companies. Sure, it has a lot of collaborators and customers. For sure, the industrial sector has an important weight. Industrial sector specialised and export-oriented companies, especially in the next fields: the automotive, consumer electronics, chemical-pharmaceutical and agri-food sectors.
The economy is developing and it signs up the most highly skilled staff. The next areas are developing in the city: biotechnology, business services, audiovisual production, cultural industries, communication technologies (ICT) and information, sustainable mobility and clean industries. 
On the up and up the next areas: logistics, commerce, medical services, restaurants and food, advertising and design.
